自然风貌（Natural Features）

埃及海岸线长约2900千米，全境95％为沙漠。世界最长河流尼罗河从南到北流贯全境，境内长1350千米，两岸形成狭长的河谷，在首都开罗以北形成2.4万平方千米的三角洲。苏伊士运河是连接亚、非、欧三大洲的交通要道。

埃及大部分地区属热带沙漠气候，终年炎热干燥，尼罗河三角洲和北部沿海地区属地中海气候。1月平均气温12℃，7月平均气温26℃，年平均降水量50～200毫米。沙漠地区气温可达40℃，年平均降水量不足30毫米。(https://www.daowen.com)
