地理位置及范围（Geographical Location and Scope）
非洲是“阿非利加洲”的简称，位于东半球的西部，地跨赤道南北，东濒印度洋，西临大西洋，北隔地中海和直布罗陀海峡与欧洲相望，东北隅以狭长的红海与苏伊士运河紧邻亚洲。面积约3020万平方千米（包括附近岛屿）。约占世界陆地总面积的20.4％，仅次于亚洲，为世界第二大洲。
非洲目前有60个国家和地区。在地理上，习惯将非洲分为北非、东非、西非、中非和南非五个地区。
北非包括埃及、苏丹、利比亚、突尼斯、阿尔及利亚、摩洛哥、亚速尔群岛、马德拉群岛。
东非包括埃塞俄比亚、厄立特里亚、索马里、吉布提、肯尼亚、坦桑尼亚、乌干达、卢旺达、布隆迪和塞舌尔。
西非包括毛里塔尼亚、西撒哈拉、塞内加尔、冈比亚、马里、布基纳法索、几内亚、几内亚比绍、佛得角、塞拉利昂、利比里亚、科特迪瓦、加纳、多哥、贝宁、尼日尔、尼日利亚和加那利群岛。

Africa is the abbreviation of“Afrika Island”，located in the west of the Eastern Hemisphere，across the north and south of the equator.It borders the Indian Ocean in the east，the Atlantic Ocean in the west，and Europe across the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar to the north.The northeast corner is adjacent to Asia by the long and narrow Red Sea and the Suez Canal.The area is about 30.2 million km2（including nearby islands）.It is the second largest continent in the world with about 20.4％of the world's total land area，second only to Asia.
There are currently 60 countries and regions in Africa.Geographically，i tis customary to divide Africa into five regions：North Africa，East Africa，West Africa，Central Africa and South Africa.
