人口民族（Population and Ethnicity）

埃及人口总数约1亿（2021年），人口密度约为每平方千米99.13人。由于埃及95％的国土面积为无法居住的荒漠，能够居住的国土面积只有5万多平方千米，因此人口聚居高度集中，主要集中在尼罗河三角洲地区。埃及的官方语言是阿拉伯语。伊斯兰教为国教，信徒主要是逊尼派，约占总人口的84％。
