巴西位于南美旅游区东部，北邻法属圭亚那、苏里南、圭亚那、委内瑞拉和哥伦比亚，西接秘鲁、玻利维亚，南接巴拉圭、阿根廷和乌拉圭，东濒大西洋。国土面积约851.49万平方千米，为南美旅游区第一大国家。海岸线长约7400千米。
