发展简史（Brief history of development）

公元前数百年，马来半岛就有一个叫吉打王国的国家。之后，马来半岛上的小王国一直处于分合不定的局面，不统一的分裂状态从公元5世纪一直延续到公元1400年。公元1400年，马来西亚的第一个封建王国马六甲王国开始出现。1511年马来西亚沦为葡萄牙殖民地。1641年马六甲被荷兰殖民者占领。1786年，英国人开始对马来半岛进行长达171年的统治。二战期间，日本对婆罗洲的沙捞越与沙巴进行了3年多的统治。1957年8月31日正式宣布独立，1963年9月16日马来西亚成立。
