加拿大是世界重要的旅游客源国和国际旅游消费国之一，主要旅游客源国是美国、英国、法国等，2019年到访加拿大的国际过夜游客达到2113万人次，连续第三年创历史新高。加拿大的主要旅游目的地国是美国、环地中海国家、东北亚和东南亚国家，是国际旅游支出最重要的国家之一，2019年国际旅游支出为353亿美元。
加拿大是中国重要的旅游客源国之一，2018年加拿大公民来华旅游人数达84.99万人次，十年增长54％。目前，加拿大已成为中国重要的旅游目的地国，2019年中国访加游客数量占访加游客总数的6％，位居第九。
