A: Warming Up

Look at the pictures and work in pairs to discuss the following questions.

Script:

(Adam and Brian are friends. They are talking about how to deal with a job interview.)

Adam: I just received a phone call for an interview next week.

Brian: Congratulations! This is your first interview ever.

Adam: Thank you, but I'm nervous. I don’t know what to do. Could you tell me what I should do before an interview?

Brian: Sure, you should prepare so that you can give proper response when you’re being interviewed.

Adam: Yeah, besides my personal introduction, what else should I prepare?

Brian: You should collect as much information about the company and the position you’re applying for as you can. It is important to show that you’ve done some research into the company. The interviewers will notice your enthusiasm for the vacancy.
