◉6.拆分法
译英语句子时，有时我们可以把原文的句子结构整个保存下来或稍微加以改动即可，但在不少情况下则必须将原句结构作较大改变。拆分法和合译法是改变原文句子结构的两种重要方法，也是两种相反的翻译方法。美国翻译理论家奈达说过：To preserve the content of the message，the form must be changed.注意句子结构，或者说注意翻译过程中各个成分在句中的变化。译文之所以有时会因过于机械而不顺，就是因为迁就原文的结构，而没有考虑译文的结构应有哪些变化。好的译文之所以好，就是因为句内各成分都放在了应放的位置，符合译入语行文的习惯。
汉语强调意合，结构较松散，因此简单句较多；英语强调形合，结构较严密，因此长句较多。
拆分法是把一个长而复杂的句子拆译成若干个较短、较简单的句子，有些句子由于“联系词”的联系，虽在形式上是一个句子，但句子许多成分的意义是独立的，将它们断开分成短句是完全可以的，断开的位置一般可选在这些联系词处。联系词通常由关系代词、关系副词、独立副词、伴随动词等担任。拆分法通常用于英译汉，这种化整为零的方法常包括单词分译、短语分译和句子分译等三种情况。单词分译是指把原文中的一个单词拆译成一个小句或者句子。英语中的名词、动词、形容词和副词等都可分译。短语分译是指把原文中的一个短语分译成一个句子。名词短语、分词短语、介词短语等有时都可以分译成句。句子分译可以分为简单句的分译、并列复合句的分译、主从复合句的分译以及其他情况的分译。
汉译英
