电影：《魂断蓝桥》《尼罗河上的惨案》与《爱丽丝梦游仙境》等
在配音译制的故事片（feature film）这个部分，我们将按照时间顺序，讲评三部电影的翻译片段——《魂断蓝桥》（1940）、《尼罗河上的惨案》（1978）和《爱丽丝梦游仙境》（2010）。
（一）《魂断蓝桥》的配音翻译
《魂断蓝桥》（Waterloo Bridge）是1940年米高梅公司出品的一部黑白片，由当时的大明星罗伯特·泰勒（Robert Tylor）和费雯·丽（Vivian Leigh）主演，是一部以第一次世界大战为背景的经典爱情悲剧。影片通过男女主人公的相遇、相爱、分离、团聚和永别，把炽烈的爱情、恼人的离情、难以启齿的隐情和无限惋惜的伤情共冶一炉。不过，该片在中国的受欢迎程度超过美国本土，究其原因，可能还要归功于上海电影译制片厂1976年出品的高质量译制片。翻译是赵国华、朱晓婷，译制导演是伍经纬，主要配音演员是刘广宁和乔榛。
本书选取了两个片段“真相”和“告别”来做翻译、配音练习。在“真相”这个段落中，女主人公玛拉经过思想斗争，决定和未来的婆婆玛格丽特夫人澄清事实，做决绝的分离。玛拉的语气和声音充满了神经质的绝望和凄凉。

（二）《尼罗河上的惨案》的配音翻译
根据英国侦探小说家阿加莎·克里斯蒂（Agatha Christie）小说改编的电影《尼罗河上的惨案》（Death on the Nile），于1978年由上海电影译制厂译制，由译影厂英语组集体翻译，译制导演是卫禹平、伍经纬，主要配音演员有毕克、邱岳峰、李梓、刘广宁等。电影讲述了行进在尼罗河上的一艘游船上发生的三起杀人事件及比利时侦探赫尔克里·波洛（Hercule Poirot）对事件的调查，最终波洛将游客召集起来，揭示了凶案的真相。这部电影在我国也是广受欢迎，上译厂功不可没，当时上译厂译制配音班底阵容强大，生、旦、净、末、丑行当齐全，译配出来的语言准确到位，人物光彩照人，为原片增色不少。这里选取“劝说”和“结案”两个片段。

（三）《爱丽丝梦游仙境》的配音翻译
迪士尼2010年推出的3D立体电影《爱丽丝梦游仙境》（Alice in Wonderland），根据英国儿童文学大师刘易斯·卡罗尔（Lewis Carroll）的《爱丽丝漫游仙境》改编而成。影片讲述了小女孩爱丽丝梦游仙境13年后的故事，已经19岁的爱丽丝在一个庄园参加聚会的时候，跟着一只兔子跳进了一个洞，再次来到“仙境”。该片引进国内后，推出了高质量的配音译制版本。以下是该片中一些短小的例子，有的句子有两个译文，大家可以从音画对位、台词口语化、性格化等方面比较。
（1）—It's only a dream，Alice，nothing can harm you there.
译文一：那只是个梦，爱丽丝。没什么东西会伤害你的。
译文二：那只是噩梦，没什么大不了的。

重点评析
例子（1）（2）（3）的译文主要考虑口语化的对白，地道顺畅地表达意思，不要拘泥于原文。例（4）主要考虑短句配音的音节长短。例（5）和例（6）则是译者创造性地变通。例（5）是疯帽匠所说的话，四不像的英语，怎么处理？译者配合当时的场景，翻译成了艰深难懂的楚辞体，非常巧妙。例（6）也是疯帽匠的话，如果照搬原文的“字母M”，则令人费解，因为Moron，Mutiny，Murder，Malice这些词的对应中文不可能都是以声母m开头，所以译者巧妙地换了一个字母。这样译文就很顺畅了。例（7）的人名翻译有的可以直译，有的要兼顾音和意，有的只能抛弃声音。其中The Cheshire Cat“妙妙猫”和The Jabberwock“炸脖龙”比较出彩。
