6.2.2.4　Polymer nano-gels

Polymer nano-gels are a kind of nanoscale dispersion system containing large amounts of liquid，in which polymer chains forming continuous network structure via physical or chemical cross-linking.Most of the common polymer nano-gels are hydrogels，and the water content is as high as about 90％in three-dimensional network structure of hydrophilic or amphiphilic polymers.To improve the performance of the nano-gels，functional inorganic NPs，including gold NPs，magnetic NPs，and quantum dots，etc.can be doped into nanogels.The nonspherical gold NPs in nano-gels can be used as a thermal sensor applying to photodynamic therapy and photothermal therapy.Nano-gels containing magnetic NPs can be used to achieve drug targeting delivery under external magnetic field.In addition，quantum dots can be used for imaging，and therefore can be used to build integration of diagnosis and treatment platform.(https://www.daowen.com)
