7.2.1 Polymer nanomaterials
With the rapid development of nanotechnology, polymer nanomaterials have been widely used in tumor diagnosis and treatment as the carrier of therapeutic drugs.Polymer nanomaterials can protect drug molecules from degradation and alter pathways of cell uptake,in vivo distribution, metabolism and clearance to enhance the effectiveness and reduce the side effects of the drug.Polymer nanomaterials are the most commonly used carrier materials in tumor immunotherapy. In addition to the advantages mentioned above, polymer nanomaterials can also increase the uptake and the presentation of antigens by APCs,induce CTLs responses and deliver cytokines and antibodies to regulate immunosuppressive TME.According to the morphology of polymer nanomaterials, they can be divided into solid nanoparticles(NPs),nanogels,nanovesicles,nano-micelles,etc.(https://www.daowen.com)
