The ideological-political course is the core of the fundamental task which aims to foster character and civic value of the youth.Attaching great importance to the ideologicalpolitical course,president Xi has given a series of significant instructions and discourses.In 2019,he proposed explicit requirements on building ideological-political courses after reading the teaching guidance based on “Three Entries” when he visited the history museum of Nankai University amid his inspection tour on Jan.1st; on Mar.18th,in the speech at a symposium for ideological-political teachers,he systematically elaborated on why and how to instruct ideological-political courses.“Earlier this year,when I inspected Nankai University,I also emphasized the significance of the course.” He remarked.Later,on Apr.25th in 2022 when he inspected Renmin Universuty of China,he clearly stated that“the essence of the ideological-political course is reasoning,and attention should be given to the way of teaching to reason in an insightful,thorough and flexible way”.President Xi has placed the ideological-political course in such an indispensable position as it bears the mission of orienting the youth to a correct political direction.Politics dominates a country with far-reaching impact,while deviation incurs only disruption.Therefore,in all times,all countries cultivate civilians to meet respective political needs,which is what an education for.Today,our ideological-political teachers are shouldering the historic mission of cultivating the next generation of socialists.
