(一)课前检测

1.主要内容 (见附件1)。

Describe their daily life including their preferences for all the subjects and the distance from home to school with comparative and superlative of adjectives.

Work together or search online to find some English idioms with as…as…

2.评价方式。

Teacher check their homework and provide timely feedback before class.

Students show their results of survey on PPT by working in groups.

(二)课堂练测

To correct some mistakes they’ve made in class.(探&展)

Compare students’ height, weight, and age with the phrases of as…as…(练)

Compare the number or amount of things they have with the phrases as…+many/much…+as…(练)

Students use the comparative , superlative of adjectives and as…as…to compare different brands of fridges and then make a decision on which one is suitable for the family.(展&练)

Check the answers and correct mistakes by working together.

Group discussion to evaluate each group’s performance.
