四 教学过程设计

(一)情境导入

1.教师播放有关我国高铁创新与应用的小视频,引导学生思考科学发明对生活的影响。

2.教师展示生活中新旧发明图片,引导学生使用阅读课中所学单词、短语和句型结构来对比新旧发明。

3.学生做对话并讨论各种发明的重要性,引导学生使用“without it,we couldn’t…” “It allows us to …”等句型结构。

设计意图

通过播放视频来引导学生思考科学发明的重要性。

通过讨论新旧发明来激发学生学习兴趣。同时检查学生是否已经掌握了形容词比较级和最高级的使用。

(二)学与教的活动

——预习反馈

1.教师展示部分学生的预习作业,让学生寻找作业中出现的错句子并一起纠正。

2.教师课前整理学生在预习作业所提出的问题,课上展示疑问并点评,有利于学生带着疑问进行学习。

设计意图

找错并纠错有助于吸引学生注意力,加深记忆,提高听课效率。

——自主学习新知

1.将预习作业中有关“as…as…”的常用语展示于大屏幕,请学生总结as…as…的构成规则。

2.学生总结后,通过练习巩固“as + adj.+ as …”的用法。

Ex.1老师将课前通过问卷星所做调查以表格形式反馈于大屏幕,学生根据表格内容使用as…as…结构来比较Lucy,Mary, Sandy的身高、体重和年龄。

检查学生预习情况,并根据情况再次整合课堂内容。

设计意图

引导学生自主总结 “as…as…”结构的用法,把结构和规则的学习与意义表达结合起来。

鼓励学生将运用“as…as…”描述自己周围事物,让学生在任务活动中运用语法知识解决生活中的问题。

——合作学习新知

1.请学生思考预习作业中的疑问:“as…as…中间只能加形容词吗?”

2.教师请能力较强的同学纠正预习作业中出现的错误句子并顺势引导学生思考:“如果as…as…中间可以接名词的话,它的结构应该是怎样的?”

3.教师展示教材中所给例子,请学生读句子并总结语法规则。

(1)With light bulbs, people can do as many things in the evenings as they can in the daytime.

(2)The Blacks throw away as many cans as the Browns.

(3)A candle does not produce as much light as a light bulb.

(4)The Whites throw away as much plastic as the Browns.

4.学生总结后,通过练习巩固“as+many/ much +n.+as…”的用法。

Ex.2教师将课前通过问卷星所做调查结果以表格形式反馈于大屏幕上。请学生根据他们已经掌握的知识来比较四位同学拥有笔、笔记本的数量,每周零花钱及每天饮水量。

(表格内容根据实际发放至问卷星调查表的内容而变)

设计意图

引导学生观察分析例句并找出规律,然后归纳总结出语法规则。

鼓励学生运用“as +many/much+ n.+as…”描述自己周围事物,让学生在任务活动中运用语法知识解决生活中的问题。

——巩固新知

本环节播放教师和学生课前录制好的有关购买新电脑的视频,从而帮助学生了解比较各种品牌电脑的表达方式。具体操作如下:老师和几位学生共同比较他们各自电脑的不同之处,结合网络报价写出台词,然后根据教学重难点整合视频内容,最后由几位同学担任演员,将购买电脑过程表现出来。

设计意图

激励学生将所学到的知识运用于日常生活中。

拓宽学生练习渠道,鼓励一部分同学通过课前预习和各种活动先掌握课堂内容,从而在课堂中带动其他同学共同学习。

吸引学生注意力,并学习比较事物的表达方式。

——课堂展示

创设真实情景,如“双十一”购物节的到来,引导学生帮助家长选购一台冰箱。学生在小组中讨论并对比不同品牌冰箱的价格、容量、服务等后,并模仿购买新电脑的对话练习进行对话练习。

设计意图

通过比较、讨论等方式来提升交流信息的能力。

结合这些具体的学习活动,让学生感知、体会和掌握本课语法知识。

(三)课堂小结

总结与评价

学生小组内讨论他们在本课所学内容。

教师通过提问的方式随机抽检学生课堂学习情况。

小组内相互评价课堂表现,记录员记录学生自评及互评结果。

设计意图

将学过的语法知识适时进行总结、归纳,建立起新旧知识的联系,使其系统化、条理化。

通过组员间的评价使学生及时关注自己及他人课堂行为,获取成就感,同时培养团体意识与合作精神。
