The Scientific Foundations,Methodology and Professional Training for Studies of College Instruction

Abstract:This article proposed a framework on the scientific foundations,methodology and professional training for studies of college instruction.It suggests that undergraduate development studies and sciences of learning are its two scientific foundations,course-specific design study can serve as its disciplinary methodology.The author also proposed a professional training plan for training instructional designers to assist faculties on course design in order to promote student-centered undergraduate education reform(SC reform)in China.This article is based on the author's previous studies on the SC reform in USA.
