How to tell stories from the perspective of scholarship of teaching and learning

Abstract：Scholarship of teaching and learning aims to promote universities to attach importance to teaching，reshape the central position of teaching in talents cultivation，and effectively improve the quality of talents cultivated through enhancing faculty members'educational and academic abilities.College teachers in China are confronted with higher standards than before in this new era，which facilitates their conscious pursuit of sustainable professional development.One of the connotations of professional development is that teachers are required to be equipped with capabilities of scholarship of teaching and learning.Therefore，the inquiry of this kind of ability will also become a new mission for teachers'professional development in our country.Teachers should take the initiative to explore and share wisdom from their experience，carry out researches concerning scholarship of teaching and learning，and give full play to collective intelligence.In addition to that，teachers should represent the Chinese story of teaching in universities，and investigate Chinese solutions and formulate Chinese practices.
