Cultivation Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing in America and its Enlightenment to China—Taking College of Nursing，University of Illinois at Chicago as an example

Abstract：Taking the College of Nursing of the University of Illinois at Chicago as an example，this paper emphatically introduces the objectives，curriculum setting(including course content，teaching forms，assessment methods）and graduation standards of doctor of philosophy，and points out that in the future doctor of philosophy education，China should create a good environment for the development of nursing discipline from the national，regional and school levels，and further improve the education system of nursing philosophy doctors.At the same time，faculty and students as a community should actively participate in teaching activities
