Online Teaching Practice of“Suspending Classes without Stopping Learning”and Thinking of Post-epidemic Online Teaching Reform—Taking Shanghai Jiao Tong University for Example

Abstract:During the epidemic prevention and control period,the Ministry of Education required that the work of“suspending classes without stopping teaching,suspending classes without stopping learning”should be done on the basis of ensuring teachers'and students'health and safety.A lot of schools rushed to prepare at short notice and carried out large-scale online teaching from the determination of teaching methods to the deployment of information facilities and further to the teacher training and trial teaching.Taking Shanghai Jiao Tong University for example,this paper analyzed the school's choices on online teaching methods and online teaching platforms during the period of“suspending classes without stopping learning”,introduced the university's situations of quality control and feedback on online teaching,and pondered the reform of online teaching at the post-epidemic.Meanwhile,this paper discussed how to maintain the technical advantages of online teaching and utilize information technologies to promote the innovation of teaching methods and the reform of teaching models,so as to accelerate the realization of the fundamental goal of talent cultivation and morality education.
