促肾上腺皮质激素

促肾上腺皮质激素（adrenocorticotropic hormone，ACTH）是腺垂体分泌的一种激素，因其可促进糖皮质激素的合成和分泌而得名。ACTH主要在垂体内产生，是前阿黑皮素原（prepro-opiomelanocortin，POMC）的代谢产物。

ACTH通过酶解可以产生α-促黑激素（α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone，α-MSH）、促皮质激素样中间肽（corticotropin-like intermediate peptide，CLIP）和β-趋脂素（β-LPH）。
