Increasing the Openness of Education through Innovating University Training Model——Based on the Perspective of Mutual Recognition of Credits and Mutual/Joint Granting of Degrees ^[1]

Abstract：This article proposes increasing the openness to the outside world as an effective approach to internationalization of higher education in China.It also argues that innovating university training model is pivitol to increasing the openness of higher education.Reflections on the above issues are also presented based on practices of Sino-foreign cooperative running of educational programs by Xiamen University.It concludes that only through implementing the strategy of opening to the world，can higher education institutions in China achieve their own rapid development.
