In cooperation with the Dublin Business School to establish a financial and accounting dual degree program,in view of Dublin Business School is recognized as one of the highest level of training partners by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants,and one of the best college for international students to prepare for the ACCA qualification exams,we introduced directly the curriculum materials and teaching modes from Dublin Business
School and integrated into them the leading courses in areas such as finance and accounting from Xiamen University to forge a curricula and teaching plans of mutual recognition,thus formed a training mode that embodies the characteristics of foreign education as well as the features of our university.
To better converge with curriculum system of foreign universities,in our collaboration with Queen Mary University of London,we referred mainly to the standards and requirements of curriculum system set by the partner.Establishing curriculum system which is readily connectable with partner universities'curricula is conducive to meeting our partners'requirements in credit transfer and degree conferment,which becomes a“through train”for internationalization of educating a qualified workforce.
Introducing curricula,lesson plans and teaching modes from well-known universities outside China,plays a positive role in promoting a continuous improvement of the curriculum system and a nonstopping optimization of the knowledge,competence,and quality structures in educating a qualified workforce.
Establishing a curriculum system which fits international standards and features long-established traditions and characteristics of our own is bound to promote the reforms in the contents and methods of educating a qualified workforce,so as to better adapt to the urgent requirements of globalization and social development and scientific and technological progress of China.
