CONCLUSION

The fuzzy nearest prototype classifier applied to speaker identification has been presented.The improved experimental results appear to be promising as a new fuzzy approach for speaker identification.A similarity between distortions presented in Section DISTORTION MEASURES is also interesting.A number of fuzzy classifiers have been developed，such as the fuzzy generalised nearest neighbour（Yang，1993），the fuzzy generalised nearest prototype（Kuncheva，1997）.Therefore further research into fuzzy classifiers applied to speaker recognition would be worth considering.
