Lesson 1：Jieshao“self-introduction”Lesson 2：Richangshenghuo“Daily Life”，Lesson 3：Jiating“Family”，Lesson 4：Shijian，Tianqi“Time and Weather”，Lesson 5：Zai Cheng Li“in the City”，and Lesson 6：Zhufang“Housing”.
The program loads automatically after the CD-ROM is inserted.It asks learners to type in their name for the later reports and statistics.Then the main menu pops up.
The main menu uses the metaphor of a film set with interactive icons to indicate different choices for study（see Figure 1）：
1.a clothing rack represents the choice of lessons，
2.a microphone presents the pronunciation and practice of the pronunciation，
3.a movie director represents the dialogue learning，
4.a notebook represents the exercises，
5.books represents the reference works，
6.a synthesizer indicates learner options，
7.a sports trophy shows the lesson report，
8.a globe of world represents the online service，
9.the Autocue is a lead to the help desk，and
10.the door means a learner can quit learning at any time.

The TMM-C program includes a User's Manual which provides information on selecting and loading the lesson.Since sections 2-8 above are all lesson specific，the first thing learners need to do is to select a lesson so that the other learning activities will follow.However，this is not at all obvious to first-time users and really needs to be made more explicit in the program.
The details of the learning activities are as follows：
