The Tell Me More-Chinese program provides many attractive features to Chinese second language learners in terms of overall design and technical implementation.The voice quality，the video clips，the interactive icons，and user-friendly design are all excellent.Learners will find this program set very interesting and helpful in their learning.It is a good program for users with some basic knowledge of Chinese who would like to improve their language competence level or review what they have learned before.True novices，however，are not likely to get very much out of it on their own.The use of speech recognition technology in TMM-C sets an innovative example in the design of multimedia language learning programs，but the technology needs to be improved in order to deal better with real-time speech.

Another useful improvement to TMM-C would be the addition of video clips to the learning activities.Such use of video would help students considerably to see，hear，and understand how an authentic conversation takes place.

Compared with other Chinese learning software，the price of$150 for a set of two content CD-ROMs is relatively expensive for individual buyers.To provide more flexibility to purchasers，it would be better if the Beginners and Advanced levels could be bought separately.
