经济发展价值
谈论其经济价值，只能将玄奘西行路线放到丝绸之路的大框架之中，显而易见的经济战略就是丝绸之路经济带的提出，丝绸之路经济带，东边牵着亚太经济圈，西边系着发达的欧洲经济圈，被认为是“世界上最长、最具有发展潜力的经济大走廊”，对于促进亚洲地区（东亚经济圈和泛中亚经济圈）乃至欧洲地区国家经济社会发展具有重要意义。保持古代以玄奘西行之路为代表的丝绸之路文化传统不变的基础上，这种新的发展战略有助于构建新的区域经济合作组织，形成国际经济新格局，有助于形成世界新兴增长区域，更有助于保障国家战略安全，拓展中国的战略空间和为我国培育新的经济增长极，推动经济中心转移，缩小东西地区经济差异。
The Westbound Route of Xuanzang and the Silk Road—with a discussion of the Contemporary Value of Westbound Route

Abstract：On the ancient and civilized Silk Road，there is a great westbound traveler，whose seventeen years of life is spent on the road. His journey left a brilliant page in the thousands of- year-long historical development. He is Xuan Zang. Through an analysis of the ancient Silk Road，the Silk Road Economic Belt of the“Belt and Road”and the Silk Roads：the Routes Network of Chang'an- Tianshan Corridor，this paper mainly introduces the typical westbound route of Xuan Zang and the relations between the Silk Roads. Finally from three aspects as：spiritual civilization，national society and economic development，this paper discusses the contemporary value of the westbound route of Xuan Zang.
